3 to 6 progressively inclined screen decks with progressively finer mesh apertures are arranged in a functional and compact manner in the vibrating screen frame. Because of the inclination in the meshes the screening effect and thereby the separation size are appreciably smaller than the apertures in the mesh panels. This drastically reduces the risk of pegging and increases the capacity considerably because the coarse-mesh system induces a dispersed material flow without the build-up of a bed of material.
Residence time in the machine is short. The processed material falls vertically and rapidly through the Sizer whereby coarse particles are removed early in the screening process from the required product stream. Wear and tear on the finer lower decks is greatly reduced.

Typical application includes crusher relief operations in mining & quarrying applications. Screening out trash and tramp material such as high capacity screening of moist coal in power plants-without material blockage. Increasing use in road building and civil construction projects for screening of basalt rock, various types of stones and gravel.

fine screen Sizer 2000

The Sizer 2000 in single, double, or three-deck design is a screening machine, which is distinguished from others in that the screen meshes are vibrated directly by means of rapping bars. The screen mats are tensioned in the direction of material flow over the rapping units. Each rapping unit consist of a shaft with two rapping bars. The end of each shaft are fitted with vibrator motors, 2 to each shaft, which induce an oscillating motion in the rapping bars.
The impact of the bars on the mesh panels keeps them free of "pegging" and prevents the build-up of fine material.
The Sizer 2000 is a static screen and transmits almost no dynamic load to surrounding structures.
The Sizer 2000 is offered with frequency inverter drive to optimize the ocillating frequency according to the screening product.

Bar Sizers

The Bar sizer is specially designed for coarse separations and it operates accordingly at high capacity, free from blockage. It works without moving parts and without consuming energy.
The range of separation is between 25 mm to 400 mm. Individual pieces may be 1 m in size and up to 3 t in weight. The quality of separation is astonishingly good in relation to the requirements of coarse screening.
The simple and robust design ensures failure and maintenance free operation, even with difficult sticky materials contaminated with impurities.
It is a simple design with creative technology. The bars diverge and are fixed at one end only. The gap opens up towards the end of the bars in the same direction as the flow of material.
The material - induced bar vibration prevents blockages. The bars are made of a special steel and may be reversed in order to increase operational life.

The Vibro-Barsizer really works because of its effective blockage-free design principle. It separates difficult-to-screen and heavily polluted materials reliably, including bulky and irregularly shaped particles. Very effective with greasy, sticky and wet materials. Textiles, fibres and plastics in the product stream pose no problems.
The linear vibration of the Vibro-Barsizer and the bars fixed at only one end help ensure a fully trouble-free separation. The bar decks are mostly arranged in multiple cascade- like steps.
The material is turned around and opened up as it falls from one step to another. Pegging and blockages are positively avoided.
Driven by two maintenance-free and quiet vibrator motors or Direct Force Exciters the Vibro-Barsizer can additionally be equipped with mesh panels to meet special requirements.
